Kids and Screen Time

Kids and screen time

Tweens (kids 10-15) spend more time on their devices than at school. That is about  4 ½ hours a day seven days a week.

Teens spend even more time. About 71/2 hours a day

The American Academy of Pediatrics suggests that until children are two years of age they spend only 2 hours of quality media time pr day.

They recommend

  1. Parents carefully regulate content.

  2. Parents model media use by putting theirs away.
