Dealing with Disappointment Part 2

Dealing with disappointment

OK, so it didn’t work out, it fell apart, it just didn’t last and you’re disappointed, very disappointed.

1. Know what matters most.

So, what matters most to you?

What really matters?

Know what’s important in your life and do that and not much else.

2. Reach out.

Don’t be alone.

Get out there, talk to friends.

But only friends that will give you support not drag you down.

Find a mentor, someone who has wisdom.

Seek counsel if you need it.

Reach out for a helping hand.

  1. What can you learn from this?

Failure can be a learning experience. It really can be.

So, what happened and what can you learn from what happened?

Don’t do it that way again is a go place to start.

  1. Positive self-talk.

Above all stop the negative talk.

Stop it right away. Now!

You can be your own worst enemy.

Get off the negative train.

You are in control. You really are.

Take the next step. Do the next best thing.
