Dealing with Disappointment

Dealing with Disappointment

OK, so it didn’t work out, it fell apart, it just didn’t last and you’re disappointed, very disappointed.

  1. Do the opposite.

You’re going to be blue, eat stuff you shouldn’t and dig a deeper hole. Hey, do just the opposite.

Clean up, clean out, start a new page and move on.

Buy yourself something, don’t go crazy though.

Take a breath. Do something new and different.

Have a party or go to a party. Don’t go crazy, but have some fun.

  1. What would X do?

What would so and so do and do that.

What advice would you give someone in your situation?

Do that. Take your own advice.

  1. Use your strengths.

Don’t know your strengths?

Make a list. Ask someone to list your strengths.

Use your super powers to bring about change

Quit putting yourself down and play on the strengths you know you have.
