Part Three: Stuff you can do to change your life

Part Three:

Stuff you can do to change your life.

  1. Clean up.

Put stuff away when you’re finished.

Find a place for everything and put it in its place.

Take out the trash and do the dishes.

A mess just messes with you.

Control the mess and clean up as you go.

  1. Set deadlines.

Part of having a plan is knowing when you have achieved your goals.

Get things done in a timely manner.

Just get it done.

Put in the work and don’t let things slide.

  1. Take one day off per week.

God took a day off so can you.

You need a time to relax and refresh.

4. Read, words.

Books, magazines, blogs.

Read, read and read some more.

  1. Exercise your brain.

Exercise your body and your brain.

Read and study challenging stuff that gets you thinking.

Be an expert at something.

That means you need to study and that means you’re exercising your noggin.

  1. Think positively.

We need more positive people out there.

There is still a great big beautiful world out there.

Concentrate on the good and not the ugly stuff.

Be a positive light in your world.

  1. Make fast decisions.

This sounds strange, but we waste a lot of time thinking and thinking and thinking.

Many times, our first instinct is the right answer.

  1. Wait before buying.

This seems against the last point.

Give purchase a little time before buying.

Impulse buying can get you in trouble.

Too many times we buy and then find a better deal the next day.

You can wait a bit and let your decision settle in before you buy.

  1. Meditate, pray, reflect for 30 minutes per day.

Take some time every day to get some perspective on your life.

Early in the morning is a great time.

A cup of coffee and some quite time will help with all the things recommended above.

Looking over your day at the end of your night works great too.

Do both.
