…walk in love…
Get out of the house and go for a walk.
Breath in the fresh air, okay, the air might not be fresh in your neighborhood but get out of that stuffy house. You’ve been closed up behind the doors of your house or office too long. There’s nothing good to watch on the tube anyway. Set the DVR and watch your favorite shows later.
There’s stuff going on outside.
As you walk through the neighborhoods, birds are singing, dogs are barking, and a neighbor or two might wave at you. Going for a walk fills you up a bit. The sun’s on your cheeks, the winds in your hair. Take a deep breath and sigh. You’re not going anywhere, you’re just out for walk, life’s good.
Love is like that, love is like a walk in the fresh air.
The world and its cares put us into a box. There is the job box, our cares box, our worries box, we have all these boxes and they keep us closed in. But love, ah’ love, it gets us out and about, and away from all of that.
There are people you love and people who love you. Revive that love, rekindle those feelings. Walk in your love.
Don’t go all crazy and start an exercise program. Just go for a walk. See the world and the things that are going on around you.
Take somebody along. Talk, joke, be yourself.
Don’t let the weather get in the way. There is beauty in all God’s seasons. Remember Gene Kelly and “Singing in the rain”? Give it a try.
