Showing Up Isn’t Half the Battle it’s 90% of the Battle
Getting there, being there is a battle won.
There are so many things that can get in the way and cause us not to do what needs to be done.
I work out at the gym five days a week. I am not bragging here at all.
Just getting up early every morning can be a pain. Especially when you stayed up late the night before.
So getting through the gym door can be a victory.
Most of the time showing up is all a mind game.
Much of the battle happens between our ears as we make excuses and compromise our resolutions.
Showing up can be won in our minds long before we even step out the door.
Getting there, being there and showing up is so much better than the guilt, shame and embarrassment that comes from not following through with commitments.
Focus on your goals.
Have a plan.
Get rid of distractions.
Reward yourself for a job well done.
Move on to the next goal.
There is always a next goal.
