Many of us are just going the wrong way.
We know we are going the wrong way.
We don’t feel right in the way we are going.
But we just keep on going the wrong way.
We keep plodding along all the while knowing we are going in a direction that isn’t going to be where we want to be.
We know that our addictions, bad habits and negative thoughts are all wrong and not getting us anywhere but we keep doing the things we know we shouldn’t.
There are some easy answers to solve the problem of going the wrong way, but they really aren’t so easy.
The easy answer is to “just stop” going the wrong way. See that was easy.
But the hard part is making the “stop” part of our lives.
Here are a few easy but “hard” suggestions to stop:
Tell somebody that you are changing directions that you’re going to stop. Make a public declaration that you are changing. Be accountable to somebody.
Gather some people around you to support your change. To be a help in your changing direction.
Get away from the the things and people that are not helping you with change.
Join a group of like minded people that are going the right way.
Get professional help. Cars need mechanics. People need professional help too.
Don’t look back, look forward.
If you slip and fall, get back up and restart.
You know in your heart the right way. Don’t go the wrong way.
