Your Attitude Toward Aging Might Make You Sick…

aging attitudes

Negative Attitudes toward Aging.

A new study found that adults that held a negative stereotype of aging had a greater number of cardiovascular events in their adult years.

These negative attitudes could be traced to beliefs learned as children.

  • The whole theory here is have a healthy view of getting older and you will be healthier when you are older.

Getting old is one thing we cannot escape.

Having positive views of this process can increase our life and health as we age.

Longevity increased by positive self-perceptions of aging.
