Why you should see a marriage counselor # 18

Sometimes we need to get stuff out even if it doesn’t come out very politely, and it’s always a good idea to avoid inflicting painful words on your loved one.

So talk to a therapist. He has to hold your confidence. It is a legal obligation.

The counseling “space” is the ideal place to open up and tell the truth. Let it all out during your counseling session and leave the burdens there.

Just the act of letting it out in counseling is the beginning of healing. It really doesn’t work as well with friends or colleagues. They aren’t professionals and probably won’t keep your confidence.

Give counseling a try.
