My dad taught me to ride a bike.

I crashed, I fell, I hit almost every tree on the block but I learned how to ride a bike.

My dad was there so nothing terrible happened, but he let go of the bike so I could learn to balance myself.

The only way I could learn was to have my dad let go.

When I fell he dusted me off and we tried again.

With his support I was never afraid of riding a bike.
