I Love You

“I love you”, boy that is a statement so full of power and many times falsehood. It is used so much these days that it has very little effect on anyone who hears the statement and sometimes less for those who say it. We love cities, food, our cell phones, our clothes, the latest song, our favorite team and we say we love one another.

Make your “I love you” declarations really count. Say the words “I love you” with conviction. You don’t really love your car like your wife or husband. If you do your spouse is in trouble.

When you say I love you are committing to put your own desires to the side. You are willing to put your life on hold and you are willing to give your life away for another. The key to this whole love thing is a person, the one you profess to love.

Thank you
